Their objective is to locate Misthaven, unravel the cause of its disappearance, and bring the village and its inhabitants back from whatever nether realm they have been spirited away to.

Misthaven villagers are known for their mystical ties to the forest, capable of nature’s magic. It is the adventurers’ responsibility to gather clues and journey to a different plane of existence where the village seems to be trapped. The adventurers must solve atmospheric puzzles, confront ethereal entities protecting the village, and find a way to restore Misthaven to its physical realm, if even possible. The adventurers will need to confront not just the dangers of battle but also the unknown forces at work.

• Role: Amaris is the adventurers’ guide to Misthaven’s disappearance, generously offering information and her knowledge of the nether realm. She has an ulterior motive – to bring her village back at all costs.
• His Secret: Amaris herself is the reason for the village’s predicament. Her village faced a severe pestilence they perceived as a divine punishment for their golden apples of immortality. Desperate to save her people, Amaris unknowingly struck a demonic pact, inadvertently trapping her village in the nether realm
• Story Involvement: Amaris has essential information about the village’s whereabouts, its trapped inhabitants, and the challenges that lay ahead. Her presence allows character development and a test of morality

The villagers, transformed into spectral figures, are imprisoned by demonic entities thriving off the unbalanced energy of the village. Challenges such as spectral guardians, dimensional chaoses, psychic rifts, and moral choices await the adventurers, threatening their sanity and resolve to free Misthaven.
