The village of Timewell has run into an unexpected problem – an ancient curse has turned their prized time shard, called ‘Kronos’, into a deadly object. Anyone who approaches ‘Kronos’ ages at an unnaturally rapid pace, only to halt upon retreat. The village pleads for help in retrieving the shard and lifting the curse, offering a handsome sum of gold and a secret blessing in return.
